This is the first and only official release by the band Blackhorse, which was originally released by Tritonrecords between 2002-3.
After the band Stanton split, brothers Joe and Chris went off and spent a couple of nights recording tight, dark repetative rhythms onto a 4 track, which they then passed onto Fupper, who added guitars, sounds other bits of oddness. The method worked, and a new band was started.
The band has carried on at a slumbering pace, people have gone, others have joined, new recordings are planned.
The song titles were descriptions of rollercoasters and other theme park rides, hence the name Rides... the picture is odd, isn't it...the horse is having a Ride ?
