To be honest
until Fabio (who ran the label) asked me to do a record with him, I hadn't
even thought about releasing any of the music I was making on my own.
Which I had been doing for years, it was just a simple pleasure that had
grown and grown, but I was the only one listening to any of it !
I used to live in a house in Manor House with a friend called Josh who
was the 2nd half of the band Klint, the other half being Fabio.
An average weekend in that house involved me downstairs fuppering away,
and Klint upstairs klinting away, and the other house mates Jude and John
in the lounge smoking fags and watching Dawsons Creek.
Fabio used to sneak down and listen at my door, so I made him a tape,
then another, then another... eventually he asked me to do a 12"...
This was a big deal to me, as I never thought anyone could possibly be
interested in the stuff I was making...still not sure how many people
are, but it was great to know that at least one person was, and he ran
a label...The
